Banana Almond Butter and Kale Smoothie

I’ve been drinking a lot of smoothies lately and this is one of my favorite new combinations. Its easy, tastes awesome and it keeps me full longer than a lot of other smoothies. The kale adds a great color and additional texture to the mix.

For the granola you can use plain granola or a mix of your choice as long as it’s not too overpowering. I used Bear Naked’s Vanilla Almond Crunch, which worked really well.

And yes that is my foot in the bottom of the photo.

  1. That looks DELICIOUS. Almost every single day we make a shake that’s frozen banana, almond milk, almond butter, cacao + maca powder, and honey and it’s our favorite thing ever. THIS I will have to try!

    • Awesome! I gotta get on that cacao + maca train. Recently I’ve been throwing some ch-ch-ch-chia seeds in there for a little energy booster.
